Work Log (Android app, package com.bibas.worksclocks) · Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Work Log app ("the app", "we") accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have. Work Log is developed by Matan Bibas ("the developer"). Contact: matanbibas@gmail.com.

1. Information stored by the app

Your work data — clock-in/out times, shifts, wages, bonuses, expenses, notes and settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that receive or store this data. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes it from the device.

2. Google account sign-in (optional)

You may optionally sign in with your Google account to enable two features. When you sign in, the app receives your basic account identifiers (name, email address) to identify the connected account inside the app. Signing in is never required for the core time-tracking features.

2.1 Google Drive backup (scope: drive.file)

2.2 Sending your monthly report by email (scope: gmail.send)

Limited Use disclosure. Work Log's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2.3 What we do NOT do with Google user data

2.4 Revoking access

You can disconnect your Google account in the app's settings at any time, and you can revoke the app's access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

3. Advertising and analytics

The app shows ads and uses analytics to improve stability and features. We do not run our own servers for this data — it is collected directly by the providers below, under their own privacy policies.

3.1 Advertising — Unity LevelPlay, the Unity Ads network and Unity Ad Quality

These components may collect and use:

See the Unity privacy policy.

3.2 Analytics and crash reporting — Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics

These collect an app-instance identifier, the Google Advertising ID, approximate location derived from a masked IP address, in-app events (which screens and features are used, in aggregated form only), in-app purchase events, and crash and performance diagnostics. Feature usage is recorded in bucketed form — for example a colour range instead of your exact theme colour — and never includes the content of your shifts, notes, wages or email addresses. See the Google privacy policy.

3.3 Your controls

You can reset or delete your advertising identifier, and opt out of personalized ads, in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads). Deleting the identifier stops apps from receiving a personalised advertising ID.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your work data — shifts, hours, wages, notes or reports — with anyone.

The limited categories described in section 3 above (advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, ad-interaction and app-usage events, diagnostics, and the installed-app list used for ad quality and fraud prevention) are shared with those advertising and analytics providers for the purposes stated there.

Emails you choose to send with the report feature go only to the recipients you entered, from your own Google account. Backups you choose to create go only to your own Google Drive. We have no access to either.

5. Data retention and deletion

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date above.
